Adding a Text field

A text field is an input you use as a visuel cue to indicate you need to enter some text.

To add a Text Field to a template, click the Text Field button in the tool bar:

When building a template, you will most likely leave Text Fields empty (of course you'll fill them when you use your templates).

You can also add a label that describes what needs to be filled in the Text Field. The label will be visible to you, but won't be inserted with your note into your EMR.

In some cases, you may want to add a default text in the text field.
